Maintaining Teamwork

At the TABS facility in Mitchell, South Dakota, quality service is paramount.

Consistently finding themselves out of synch with the production team, over-ordering spare parts, and reactively responding to maintenance tasks, TABS' maintenance team found themselves searching for a way to optimize their practices and increase their efficiency. To hear Maintenance Manager Steve Hohbach tell it, "We wanted to expand the TrakSYS MOM implementation with CMMS capabilities, so we could contribute to operations performance improvement, which of course we did. What we didn't expect was the extent to which maintenance engineers became closer allies of the production team. Now our two groups collaborate to solve problems and improve performance instead of playing the blame game." Interested to learn the rest of the story? Download the case study now.
