A TrakSYS-powered traceability success story at Hydranautics, featuring Parsec Certified Partner Polytron.

Hydranautics, part of the Nitto Group and based in Oceanside, California, is a global provider of integrated membrane solutions for water, wastewater, and industrial process treatment. Its operations support highly regulated environments where product integrity, traceability, and audit readiness are essential.

As production volumes and compliance requirements increased, Hydranautics faced limitations from an isolated ERP system and manual barcode processes. The lack of real-time visibility and the time required for manual data handling made it difficult to analyze data, manage inventory, and support audits efficiently.

To address these challenges, Hydranautics partnered with Polytron to implement both TrakSYS and RFID technology, creating a more connected, real-time approach to traceability and production data management.

In this case study, we explore how Polytron worked with Hydranautics to:

  • Establish end-to-end product traceability across production and inventory
  • Integrate ERP and RFID systems into a unified system of record
  • Reduce manual data collection and barcode handling effort
  • Improve real-time visibility into work-in-process and inventory status
  • Support regulatory compliance, audits, and customer requirements
