Fishing for Efficiency

A TrakSYS-Powered Success Story at Conservas Pescamar, featuring Parsec Certified Partner ASM

Founded in 1961, Conservas Pescamar operates a large seafood canning and processing complex in the coastal province of Pontevedra, Spain. Its proximity to diverse marine species and focus on quality have supported steady growth in the global seafood market.

As customer demand increased, the company faced challenges tied to limited real-time insights, paper-based records, and fragmented production data. These constraints made it difficult to identify bottlenecks, manage quality and performance, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Working with Parsec Certified Partner ASM, Conservas Pescamar pursued a manufacturing operations strategy centered on improving visibility, coordination, and decision-making across production lines while integrating with existing business systems.

In this case study, we explore how ASM worked with Conservas Pescamar to:

  • Improve real-time visibility into production performance and quality
  • Unify production data across previously disparate implementations
  • Reduce reliance on paper-based shop-floor records
  • Track raw material consumption and support waste reduction efforts
  • Enable fact-based decision-making using real-time and historical data
